You should at least address this in the fact, or perhaps create a Wizard (in PWizard) to do the series of task (if it detects that the user's choices will result in this blank space between formerly adjacent primary partitions).įURTHER, if this space is created between logical partitions, and one tries to resize/stretch a partition to also fill the blank space.
There IS a way to adjust partitions without this occurring, but it's tricky and the average customer might not understand what the problem is or how to rectify it. it often occurs that a blank space pop's-up in between what was once adjacent partitions. and within that wizard, provide an option to adjust Gb or Tb size to conform to Windows 7/8/10 display (whether in properties, Computer tile display, or even Admin-Tools>Computer Management).Ģ) Have an option to disable automatic updates.ģ) When converting adjacent primary partitions to LOGICAL ones, and then moving/resizing said Logical Partitions. What I am suggesting is to provide a Wizard (as in Partition Wizard) to help people properly partition to the Gb or Tb (ie, most people thing 1000*MB = GB but it doesn't).
